Beyond intelligence. Into execution.
Building the infrastructure for autonomous AI.
Artificial intelligence is advancing rapidly. Models can reason, generate content, analyze information and increasingly perform complex tasks. Yet a critical gap remains between what AI can do in isolation and what organizations can reliably achieve with it.
Adoption is racing ahead. Results are not.
Organizations are investing heavily in AI, but turning that investment into dependable, measurable outcomes is proving much harder.
These figures come from different surveys and measure different things, so they should be read separately rather than combined.
The challenge is no longer simply making AI more capable. It is building the infrastructure that lets intelligence become dependable, measurable execution. That is the problem Velivo is being built to address.
Four gaps between intelligence and real work.
The return gap
AI adoption is growing faster than measurable business returns.
The reliability gap
AI can produce convincing answers that are wrong, so its outputs need to be checked.
The data trust gap
AI is only as useful as the accurate, relevant and authorized information it can reach.
The execution gap
Generating an answer is different from completing a task correctly, and proving it was done.
These are infrastructure problems. Choosing a more capable model doesn't solve them on its own.
What we're building.
Velivo is focused on the infrastructure behind autonomous execution: the environment in which processes, information and actions work together.
Processes
Creating and managing the processes that work runs through, rather than treating every task as an isolated request.
Information
Connecting AI to structured, trusted operational information, with access limited to what it is authorized to use.
Rules
Enforcing defined rules, permissions and boundaries, so actions stay within what has been approved.
Verification
Checking outcomes against real system data, keeping a traceable record and escalating when confidence is not enough.
From intelligence to execution.
An intelligent system can recommend an action. A dependable system must be able to carry it out within defined boundaries, work with the right information, and establish whether the intended result was achieved. These are different capabilities.
Today's organizations run on fragmented software, disconnected data and processes that depend on manual coordination. Adding AI to that environment does not automatically resolve those underlying problems. In IBM's 2025 CEO Study, half of the CEOs surveyed said rapid technology investment had left their organization with disconnected technology.
Velivo is being developed around a different premise: autonomous AI needs an environment in which work can be created, structured, executed and managed, not just another interface through which to request it.
Reliability must be built into the system.
AI can generate convincing answers that are factually incorrect. When those outputs influence business decisions or trigger actions, the consequences can extend well beyond an inaccurate response.
The US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) identifies confabulation, commonly called hallucination, as a recognized risk of generative AI. Its guidance highlights the importance of managing reliability, information integrity, privacy and the provenance of information.
We believe dependable autonomy requires more than trusting a model's output. It requires systems designed to work with authorized information, enforce operational constraints, preserve a traceable record of actions and verify outcomes wherever possible. The objective is not to assume AI will always be right. It is to build an environment that can detect uncertainty, constrain actions, check results and escalate when confidence is not enough.
Turning AI investment into operational value.
The distance between AI adoption and meaningful business impact remains significant. McKinsey's 2025 research found that nearly two-thirds of respondents had not yet begun scaling AI across their organizations. The organizations reporting the strongest results were more likely to redesign their workflows, rather than simply introduce AI tools.
That distinction matters. Real value comes when AI changes how work gets done: how information is gathered, how decisions are supported, how tasks are coordinated and how outcomes are measured. Velivo's direction is to make that kind of operational change possible through infrastructure designed for AI-driven processes.
A foundation beyond a single application.
Velivo is being developed as a platform, not a technology tied to one assistant, one model or one category of software.
Veli is the first expression of that vision: an executive assistant designed to help people manage work, coordinate tasks and turn intentions into action. The broader ambition is to support AI-driven processes across different environments, with flexibility around models and, over time, deployment options for organizations with more demanding requirements for control and privacy.
The assistant is the interface. The infrastructure is the foundation.
Building for what comes next.
As AI becomes more capable, the ability to connect intelligence to real-world execution will matter more, not less. Organizations will need more than systems that generate answers. They will need systems that act within defined boundaries, work with trusted information and provide evidence of what actually happened.
Velivo is building toward that future.
Others are advancing what AI can do.
Velivo is building the infrastructure to help AI do it reliably.
